面對少了Kevin Love和Kyrie Irving兩名先發大將的騎士，公牛球星Jimmy Butler毫不留情地展現殺手本色，關鍵時刻連續得分，幫助公牛以106比94在騎士主場贏球。

Irving因為右大腿拉傷的關係高掛免戰牌，Love則是食物中毒尚未痊癒在家休養，就連頭號球星LeBron James此役都是抱病上陣，騎士卻依然展現旺盛鬥志，直到第四節都還緊追比分。

不過Butler在第四節跳出來接管比賽，單節狂砍14分，助球隊順利擺脫騎士糾纏，鎖定勝局。

總計Butler全場共拿下20分6籃板8助攻，Dwyane Wade則有10分進帳。

即便感冒纏身，James依舊攻下全場最高31分，並抓下8籃板、送出7助攻，另外這是他身披騎士戰袍第724場出賽，超越Danny Ferry成為隊史出賽紀錄第二高的球員，若無意外James應可在本季結束時超越Zydrunas Ilgauskas（771場）成為隊史紀錄保持人。
